Around the end of July this year, I was asked by the lovely to join a Dangan Ronpa cosplay group.
Only three episodes were out then, so I tried watching the anime and absolutely loved it.
BUT YOU KNOW, ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END so by about six episodes into the anime, 4 of my 6 favourite characters had already died HAHAHAHA *cries*.
But Leon will always hold a special place for me. :')
Anyways, I agreed to cosplay him ready for a photoshoot in September.

In the end, we managed to get pretty much a full cast of 15 students and one crazy monokuma. It was the best fun ever, I met a whole bunch of new people and they are all absolutely fantastic.The shoot lasted 6 hours, with 16 cosplayers, at 2 different locations, with 3 photographers and 3 helpers. Everyone put a lot of effort into their costumes, and it turned out better than I ever could have hoped.
I'll be uploading some photos of them in the coming weeks XD!!

As for the cosplay itself - I was pretty happy with everything except the jacket. I had to rush a bit on that which didnt help, but I will be remaking it. The pants and singlet were bought locally, and I added the skull design with fabric paint. I make the shoes out of brown dress shoes from an op shop. I styled the wig and made the goatee myself. The belts were bought and modified, and most of the jewellry was bought and modified (all the piercings are fake haha!).
